Abraham: "Well Being"

Think Big, Dream Bigger to Manifest Your Life

There is the story of the kindergarten teacher who asks a child what she is drawing. "I'm drawing a picture of God," the child replies. "But, sweetheart," says the teacher, "no one knows what God looks like." They will in a minute!" says the child.

Now, that is a perfect example of Thinking BIG !!

Big Thinkers possess this childlike faith. Not a childish faith that lacks maturity and understanding, but an attitude of deep faith in themselves. If you are a big thinker, you have an inner voice that asks "why not" and "what if" and you're in tune with your own skills, talents, and abilities to SEE the unseen or create the uncreatable.

Here's another example of a Big Thinker:

The Italian sculptor Agostino d'Antonio worked diligently on a large piece of marble. Unable to produce his desired masterpiece, he lamented, "I can do nothing with it." Other sculptors also worked this difficult piece of marble, but to no avail. Michelangelo discovered the stone and visualized the possibilities in it. His "I-can-make-it-happen" attitude resulted in one of the world's masterpieces - the statue of David.

Yes, sometimes, all it takes is to have unstoppable belief and high-faith in your own creative talents to turn your imagination into reality.

But, if thinking big is all it takes, by now, wouldn't we already have a world full of people steadfastly achieving their goals and bringing major accomplishments into their life?

Let's look at an example of a Big Dreamer first; then maybe I can shed some more light on the question above.

There is the story of Ray Kinsella (played by Kevin Costner) who hears an ethereal message ("If you build it, they / He will come") that inspires him to construct a baseball diamond in the middle of his Iowa cornfield - with the promise that the ghosts of famous baseball players will inhabit it for games at night.

Ray heard his inner voice (let's just say his connection to source or his higher-self), believed in the possibilities (however far beyond obvious), talked about it with intention, clarity, and passion. He took action on his inner promptings, regardless of how nonsensical they seemed at the time.

One of the manifesting mentors I interviewed basically told me everything in the world is suggestion - just one step away from a dream.

Life is indeed a dream and the producers of Field of Dreams make this point during a scene where Ray's father (John) asked:

"Is this heaven?"

Ray Kinsella : No - it's Iowa.
John: I could have sworn it was heaven.
Ray : Is there a heaven?
John: Oh, yeah. It's the place where dreams come true.
(Ray looks around, seeing his wife playing with their daughter on the porch.)
Ray : Maybe this is heaven.

Yes, Big Dreamers - just like Big Thinkers - find it easy to believe that all things are possible, and that life can be as passionate, pure and invigorating as fresh-cut outfield grass. However, oftentimes, this is where to two similarities end. For instance, to me, the movie Field of Dreams isn't so much a story of a possibility-thinking farmer, searching for boyish excitement in his life, as much as it is a story about TRUST and the power of VISION mixed into the manifesting process.

A bonafide Big Dreamer is somebody who is what I like to call a Vivid Visionary. Just like Ray, they have a personally compelling belief in the "inner voice" that prompts them along to take the little steps that eventually lead to bigger steps, unleashing the power of manifestation in their life.

And that power basically says: whatever it is you think constantly about, feel good about when talking about it, or become immersed in with unwavering emotion and focus, will become evident for you - not only to your own senses but to those around you who were involved while you took that first small step.

Sure, we all know the movie was fiction - a fantasy film, based on W. P. Kinsella's 1982 novel "Shoeless Joe" - however, when you watch the progression of Kevin Costner's character (Ray), from the first few dismissals' of his inner voice to his KNOWING that he was personally responsible for turning his vision into reality, you get to see a Vivid Visionary in the making.

My friend Dr. Michael Norwood, defines vision like this:

" A Vision has many components. It may start off as a goal, a mission or even a dream. However, whereas the goal, mission and dream describe something one accomplishes, a Vision is something one becomes ."

The question was once asked of a highly successful businessman: "How have you done so much in your lifetime?"

He replied, "I have dreamed. I have turned my mind loose to imagine what I wanted to do. Then I have gone to bed and thought about my dreams. In the night I dreamt about my dreams and turned then into my Vision. And when I awoke in the morning, I envisioned my day - I knew what action that I needed to employ to help me pull in the resources and people to support my Vision and make it a reality."

Personal Accountability Check - How many of you reading this truly spend at least 15-minutes a night imagining what you want in your mind, energizing it with feeling (i.e., putting yourself in the picture versus looking at the picture screen from the auditorium), and then affirming it mentally when you wake up?

Come on - be honest !

One of the Manifesting Mentors I interviewed told me emphatically:

" Just 15 minutes of creative visualization a day can change you life in unimaginable ways. It's just that most people don't believe in their own imagination ".

Read that twice. Three times, if you want to.

There's incredible wisdom and stinging truth in that statement.

More so than just personal confidence, big picture thinking, or being an idea-driven person, being a Big Dreamer is all about taking your wants to sleep, thinking constantly about them, talking about them, planning them with focus, and adding all the spices to your dreams that will give you the realization of actually manifesting your dreams - bigger, better, and faster than ever.

The ability to image, and the ability to expect what we dream about to come true, are two of the finest qualities of being a human being. Together, with belief in our own reality-creating power, we can truly be a Vivid Visionary. As Woodrow Wilson, 28th President of the U.S., said: "We grow great by dreams. All big men are dreamers."

So, dream on - but, add some ACTION (without it, you're just a Big Thinker), sprinkle in some FOCUS (think about your dreams / desires enough to bring them into consistent awareness), and top them off with TRUST (that you will, without question, always get exactly what you ask for).

You truly are the one who STARTS it all - from day dream, to night dream, to living out your dream - regardless of how outside of you it may SEEM!

I'll leave you with one final quote / scene from Field of Dreams. [ On wondering who the voice was - telling him "If You Build It, He / They Will Come" ]

Ray Kinsella : What are you grinning at, you ghost? Shoeless Joe: "If you build it -" (gestures toward catcher, who is Ray's father, John Kinsella) "- he will come."

Ray : It was you?

Shoeless Joe: No, Ray. It was you.

Stop Doing What Your Doing

Guest: ...If I want something, so very much, like...say, a beautiful home, and I
don't see it within my means to buy a new home but, I still want it, and can
feel excited about it...am I still creating it?

Abraham: In the moment that you are excited about it, you are! In the moment
that you are worried about it and thinking you cannot afford it, you are pushing
it away. And that is the way most of your creations are: they are floating
around in limbo out here somewhere!

Created, just not coming into your experience because you attract them and push
them, attract them and push them, attract them and push them.

THE KEY IS TO MONITOR THE WAY YOU FEEL AND, WHENEVER YOU FEEL NEGATIVE EMOTION,
STOP DOING WHATEVER YOU'RE DOING. STOP THINKING, SPEAKING, ACTING. STOP DOING
WHATEVER IT IS THAT HAS BROUGHT FORTH THAT NEGATIVE EMOTION.

Now, that doesn't mean you have to fix the thought! That doesn't mean you have
to 'convince' yourself you CAN afford it. It means you have to stop thinking you
can't afford it - BY THINKING OF SOMETHING ELSE!!

Abraham-Hicks, A NEW BEGINNING

We do not "stop" what we're doing. We either do not do it, or we use a better term, such as, "have already done", or accomplished that. If we are "trying to stop", we are pushing against what we do not want, instead of having already "allowed" what it is we did want. There is no trying in having already done something. knightsintent

Manifesting Intention

Creative Observation

A common question I get about intention-manifestation is something along these lines: How come when I wholeheartedly intend X to happen, I still get the opposite of X?

For example; How come when I intend wealth, I'm still poor? How come when I intend a new relationship, I'm still alone? How come when I intend a new career, I'm still stuck in the old one?

These are excellent questions. The answer is that intention-manifestation always works. When it seems like it isn't working, the reason is that while you're correctly putting out the intention for what you want, you're also putting out the intention to continue manifesting what you don't want. And you're probably doing a lot more of the latter than the former, so if your situation changes at all, it will happen very slowly. But if you keep it up, it will still work. However, most people give up on their positive intentions long before they have a chance to manifest, and by default they go back to thinking about what they don't want, so all progress is erased.

Imagine you're driving a car up a hill. What happens to the car if you stop partway up the hill and put the car in neutral? You slide back down the hill, erasing all your progress. No matter how many times you re-run this routine, you get the same result.

Observation is creative.

Now how is it that people keep thinking about what they don't want even when they're hugely motivated to manifest something new? It's very simple. If you're in a situation you don't want to be in, and you observe it or notice it, you're thinking about it. That means you're intending its continuation. For example, if you're overweight and you're intending to be thin, and you go to the mirror and see your overweight body, you just intended the opposite of what you want, thereby negating your intention to be thin.

That's harsh, isn't it? But this is why intentions can take a while to manifest.

Now how the heck are you supposed to focus on what you want if your current situation is something you don't want, and merely observing your current situation is enough to negate your positive intention?

That, of course, is the million dollar question. Fortunately, there's a million dollar answer: creative observation.

Let's review the rules of intention-manifestation:

1. All thought is creative. Every thought is an intention, including your perceptions. Observation is active creation, not passive witnessing. There's no such thing as observation without creation.
2. 100% responsibility. You're 100% responsible for everything that exists in your reality. If you perceive it, you created it.
3. Only the present is real. You only have power in this present moment; the past and future are merely projections you're creating right now. If you remember that X happened in the past, you're creating that past right now. To remember is to think, and to think is to intend.
4. No denial. You cannot uncreate what you've already manifested. Once something has manifested in your reality, it's too late to uncreate it. The mere act of observing it will perpetuate it. It makes no sense to deny what you've already created. If you perceive it, you've made it real.

#4 is the tricky part. You can't uncreate what you've already manifested. Once something appears in your reality, it's no longer just potential. You've made it real. Now it's stuck in your awareness, and you'll continue creating it merely by observing it. For example, if you're broke and in debt, you can't manifest wealth by denying your poverty. You've already created poverty; it's as real as solid rock. So the first part of adaptive creation is to accept the reality of everything you've created so far. Even if you don't see how you attracted it, it doesn't matter. All that matters is that it's real right now, so acknowledge and accept your current situation honestly, even if you don't particularly like it… even if you downright hate it.

Now let's say you want to go from A to B, where A is the current situation you've already manifested, and B is a new situation you'd like to manifest. Maybe it's fat to thin, rags to riches, loneliness to romance, wage slave to business owner, etc. It's nearly impossible to focus all your attention on B without thinking about A, especially if you fail just by noticing A. How can you not think about being overweight if you're stuck in your overweight body every single moment? How can you not think about being broke if you don't have the money to pay your bills?

All observation is creatively biased.

The key is that when you observe your current reality, you always observe with a bias. Your bias is rooted in your beliefs, but let's simplify that model to just three general biases: positive, negative, or neutral. All observation can be assigned one of these three bias values.

Suppose you observe the current state of your situation, and it's not remotely what you want. That's fine — it's perfectly OK to acknowledge that. But while you're observing your situation, you're also also expecting one of three things to happen: (1) the situation is improving, (2) the situation is declining, or (3) the situation is stable. This expectation may be subconscious much of the time, but it's always there in some form.

Assuming you intend your situation to improve, which of these three observational biases makes the most sense? Clearly the positive one bias is the way to go. In order for intention-manifestation to work smoothly, whenever you observe your current situation (even as it continues to conflict with what you really want), you must observe with positive bias as much as possible. This will allow you to observe reality without simultaneously negating your positive intention.

Why a positive attitude is critical.

This is precisely why a positive mental attitude is effective. Attitude is absolutely critical. If you spend time focusing on your positive intentions, but you also observe your present situation in either a neutral or negative way, you're wasting your time. This is why you don't get thin by harboring thoughts like, "I hate being fat." Instead you must acknowledge your present overweight body while latching onto the hope that your momentum is headed towards your goal weight.

Fortunately, no matter how overweight, broke, lonely, or unmotivated you are, there's always hope. There's always the possibility of turning things around. Even if pure dumb luck is the only ray of hope you can accept right now, that's a step in the right direction. Hold that hope as a general positive expectation rather than becoming attached to just one way your positive intentions might manifest. For example, you might focus on the hope of attracting better financial luck, but don't assume that it will come in the form of a lottery win.

This is why goal setting sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. You'll achieve your goals if you observe your present reality with a positive momentum in the direction of your goals. But if you set a goal and observe your present situation with a negative or neutral bias, then your goals have no power to induce change.

My experience

I've been testing this creative observation strategy for several weeks now. Whenever I observe something in my reality that I don't like or that conflicts with my positive intentions, I do my best to look for any shred of hope for improvement and focus on that. I keep observing with a positive bias, always asking, "What's good about this?" As I observe my present reality, I'm literally trying to bend it in the direction of my intentions. I look for any reasonable excuse that the momentum of a situation is positive and improving in the direction of my intentions. I accept the situation as it is, so there's no denial, but I'm imagining it getting better at the same time. So even though this particular point may not be what I want, I imagine it as part of a line that's sloping towards my goal. I observe the position but visualize it with a positive velocity.

If the velocity of the immediate past is negative, then I imagine a deceleration followed by a new acceleration in a more positive direction. For example, if my kids are beginning to misbehave in public, and if their behavior is gradually worsening, I acknowledge and accept what's happening while visualizing a positive turnaround on its way.

The results of this test are still accruing, but so far I'm convinced it's having a major impact already. Since I started doing this, I've had two major new potential partners come into my life, one of which I've already received a contract from for a new deal that I can hopefully announce this fall. I've also had lots of smaller opportunities crop up out of the blue. In all cases these were apparent coincidences — everyone came to me. It was totally effortless.

Manifesting Naturally - In 2 Easy Steps

Manifesting your desires is a very natural process that can get very complicated very quickly if you force the process. Being attached to a certain outcome is one of the quickest roads to disappointment. You must be open to the possibility that there is a greater intelligence in you that will create circumstances to help you better learn how to use your power of manifestation and in getting clear with your intent.

When one is focused upon material gain as an end in itself, the outcome is constricted by the foundation of fear upon which scarcity is based. When one is focused upon selfless service to the higher good of All Life, without fear for one's own well-being, the highest result is manifested for all.

You do not need to be any less prosperous in making such a shift. For the key to sustaining the manifestation of abundance, under conditions where the idea of personal prosperity is irrelevant, is the subtle shift in where one chooses to focus one's intent. People who choose to dedicate their lives to humanity or through restoring the harmony of the environment are not required to choose poverty as a demonstration of that selflessness. Circumstances will manifest quite naturally that would ensure the physical comforts of those in question when one is aligned with one's own highest purpose. When you are living your highest purpose and experiencing life in all of it's wonders and abundance you automatically give others the confidence and permission to do the same, which is the greatest result for all.

You are not here as a statement of separation from life, but as a materialized statement of unification with it.

Manifesting is not about proving to yourself that you are a creator. There is no need to prove something that you already are. Manifesting your desires is natural, as natural as breathing.

Desire you breath out, Creation you breath in. Your first moment was enjoying your creation of embodiment, your first breath in.

Intent is the focus of vibration or thought to create anything you want in Life. Intent is desire in pure form.

1. Focus your intent, breath out.
2. Creation, breathe in and enjoy your manifested desire.

Example : your body desires oxygen, so you breath out to make room for the oxygen, Then you breath in, and your body enjoys the experience of the new oxygen and when it wants more new oxygen you simply breath out to make room for more expecting that again your desire will be fulfilled. If your body doubted for one second that there was a lack of oxygen would you breath what you have out? No.You hold your breath until you can get more. But eventually you are going to have to let go of what you have to get more, or you die.

Breathing happens naturally. It is nothing you need to force or understand; it just simply is. Breathing happens whether you breathe in air or energy. It is natural.

Transformation need not take years or digging for clues in the subconscious for past karma or blockages or unknown barriers. Set your intent to be that of what you desire, knowing that you have always been whole and complete! Remove from your mind the concept of linear earthly time. Be timeless and you will know that all is known and all is perfect.

Breathe in, expand Your Universe. Breathe out, expand The Universe.

The Breath IS Life.

Enjoy each moment naturally as you breathe in and out and know that you are the Alpha and the Omega; the beginning and end. The equation of all possibilities in everything, everywhere.

Responsibility is the key in expanding your truth that you are in fact the creator of your experience at any given moment. The amount of responsibility that you accept is the exact amount of creation ability that you utilize for your experience.

To be completely responsible for your experience is to know that, without a doubt, the free will that is inherent in the human condition is unconditional. You are free to do anything, be anything, and believe anything in any way it pleases you. That is your birthright. And with that freedom goes the right to reap the ramifications of all actions, so that you will be able to experience the results of your choices.

We have been taught by a society that has learned and in turn teaches the path of constriction. That is why you have chosen to create barriers that frustrate and infuriate you as a motivation for you to learn what it is that you are not: Limited. You have created barriers in your life to discover your true potential and to remove those barriers that stifle the very essence of that which you are: Limitless! The very fact that you are reading these words is a testament to your relentless pursuit of the beliefs you have consistently questioned and tested so that you may find your own truth. There is only one truth - your truth - and in knowing that you come to realize that you must allow all others to live their own truth. Shine by the example of living your own truth, not by trying to convince others of your truth.

Once responsibility is realized to it fullest ramifications then the limits you have in creating the desire are completely up to your level of acceptance of what you can create.

When you permit yourself the luxury of openly, unabashedly, fantasizing about what it is you truly yearn for, and dream of, you set into motion the energetic parameters for manifesting your heart's desire. Until you give free expression to the limitless vision you keep under wraps, you cannot, by definition, create it into your reality. When you operate your life from the mind-set of the unworthiness to have your heart's desire, when you dare not ask for what you truly want out of fear of disappointment, that disappointment is virtually guaranteed!

You must know that you are already whole,; that you are in fact worthy of anything you desire.

Would you on a hot day think of treating yourself to an ice-cream cone then go out and buy yourself an ice cream cone, then in fear of disappointment or lack of worthiness decide not to even taste it? Would you just let it melt away? Something that your heart desired, you paid for, only to in fact taste the disappointment that you were afraid of by not allowing yourself to taste the ice-cream? Robbing yourself from true experience.

Do you see how it works?

The moment you imagined what it would be like to have your desire, you have in essence already paid for it. You already expended the energy required to create it. The seed was planted, now nurture it, protect it, give it love, allow it to grow into your reality so that you may enjoy it. Never for one second allow yourself to believe that you don't deserve it or how it happens to manifest into your life.

Just know that's it's a natural occurrence. You do deserve it and you are worthy or you wouldn't have desired it in the first place. Sometimes depending on the clarity of your intent and how open you are, you may even receive something far better.

If you dare to envision yourself in circumstances where your deepest most heartfelt longings were manifested, without reservation and compromise, you might begin to experience the radical shift in the circumstances of your life that would provide you with the very evidence that you are looking for that you do indeed create your life.

If you dared to risk letting go of your limitation-based thinking that keeps you anchored in the experience of disappointment in the areas that matters most to you, you might experience the shift from those patterns.

Accept the full responsibility that you are in fact the creator of your experience. For just a moment toy with the thought and you will realize that manifesting your desires are as natural as breathing and you are responsible for all of it.

Allow yourself to be your highest purpose; there is no need to struggle to attain your highest purpose you are already living it every moment whether your realize it or not.

Breathe Naturally and Manifest Your Life, the Life you Deserve to Live, Yours!

Abundance as a Spiritual Birthright

I am going to remind you of some simple, yet important things that you should already know, but perhaps need a reminding of just now. I know that I need reminding from time to time and suspect that you may also need the same 'straight to the point' reminders.

I have written thousands of pages about success, wealth creation, prosperity consciousness and personal empowerment. All those many words are but an elaboration of these nine basic precepts. If you need convincing or want the substantiation or the practical application of these nine precepts, then buy and read my books. If you just need the simple reminder, then read through to the bottom of this page.

Creator , or the Ultimate Source, or the All That Is All, or the Universal Creative Impulse, or God, or whatever you may wish to name it, desires your prosperity and success . It does not desire (or demand) any impoverishment, suffering or limitation of any kind for you UNLESS that is what you desire or envision for yourself. Creator wants you to be blessed, wants you to succeed, wants you to have all the wealth and abundance you desire for yourself. Desire is de-sire... of the father. Your desires for wealth and abundance are divine. Honor them.

You are an inseparable part of Source. You are a divine creator as well as a sacred creature. Your intimate connection with the All That Is All is always there and cannot ever be severed for any reason EXCEPT that you will it to be so. (and even that is an illusion) You don't need to do anything to return to Source. You are already there and always have been and always will be at one with The All That Is All. You are a part of, not apart from, Infinite Intelligence. Your consciousness is contained within universal consciousness. Each and every thought held in your consciousness is an integral part of the universal. It adds to the whole. It is creative.

You deserve success and wealth. You do not need to measure up to any standard, not even the ones you have set for yourself in order to merit wealth, success or happiness. Abundance is your birthright as a child of God. There is no prime cause at work that denies you the fulfillment of your fondest desires for success and happiness. To the contrary, the universe is set up to support your abundance. Harmonize yourself with the way the universe works and you will have all you envision and desire. It's all about vibration and harmonics.

The Law of Attraction is always working. Whatever you have in your life right now, you have attracted into it. You do not attract what you wish for or even what you envision; you attract what you are. What you have and what you see around you is but a reflection of who you are being in this moment. Denial does not negate the Law of Attraction anymore than it negates Gravity, which is, after all, just another example of the Law of Attraction in action. Become more and you will have more.

The choice is always yours. At each and every moment, you have the power to choose to be, do and have more. Or less. Whatever you can imagine, you can have. The four principle forces that power your creativity are: thought, belief, desire and intent. You can choose what and how to think. You can choose what and how to believe. You can choose what to desire. You can choose your intentions. Such is your power. Choose carefully. Choose intentionally. Choose purposefully. Your choices of thought, belief, desire and intent determine who you are. Who you are determines what you get to have.

The true purpose of your life is simply to revere, relish and contribute. Life is meant to be a joyful event. When you honor all things, especially yourself, as being sacred; and when you wholeheartedly partake in and appreciate the pleasures of life; and when you consciously and intentionally choose to make a contribution to life... you are fulfilling the purpose of your life and you will experience joy and fulfillment. When you are searching for the purpose of your life, you are seeking the way that you can make a contribution or express your gratitude for the gift of life. Become a blessing and you will be blessed.

Love really is all you need. Compassion will open you up to being able to receive and accept all the love, joy and abundance that surrounds you constantly. Compassion for all creation, most especially for your sacred self, is the key that unlocks the door into infinity. Infinite love surrounds you. Be compassionate to life. Become passionate about life and you will experience all the abundance you are willing to allow yourself. In order to love your neighbor as yourself, you need to first love yourself. Love you. Honor you. Cherish you.

When you remember these simple things, life makes sense; when you forget them, you get confused by the apparent complexity. You wrote this script, now you are acting it out as the ultimate method actor. However, you may stumble occasionally, in the brilliance of your performance, when you forget the plot. Since you wrote this script, you can change it at any time you desire. Since you are playing the role you wrote, you can play it any way you think best. Drama, comedy, tragedy, romance, adventure, soap opera? You decide.

You are hearing this now because you asked to be reminded, from time to time, of what you know, but sometimes forget, as you immerse yourself in the experience of life on planet earth. You came here to play this game. That was your original choice. It remains your choice. I get to be the guy, this time, to remind you of the rules of your game. That is my contribution. Next time, it may be your turn to remind me. We have eternity to play. Eternity exists in this exact moment. Play full out. Now.
I love you. I honor you. I am grateful that you chose to be a part of my life. I am humbled if I can contribute in any way to the pleasure and success of your journey.
